You wouldn't know but all of out young players have been up and down to the AHL a couple of times. "You have to put players in a position to succeed." - every HC.

You can't do the same things in the NHL, or at least you can't do them the same way. Players need to learn, and in Parekh's case he needs to hit the weight room and fill out so he can survive in the NHL.
