@deewatts60 Exactly. And women historically did not work outside the home until World War 2, so at no point in history was it common to provide full-time care of your grandchildren, but people are acting like boomers are abandoning an ancient standard.

@ItsSamG Not sure your question. Don’t know specifically who/what ‘prefaces’ refers to. My point is that there are many of we Boomers who thought we’d be turning over a much enhanced society to our kids/grandkids. The wrong portion gained political power & became the selfish stereotype.

@ItsSamG Bill Clinton reportedly said that those who came of age in the 60’s either rejected the movements from then (Civil Rights Act, Equal Rights Amendment, environmentalism) & became Republicans or embraced them as way overdue & became Democrats. Two different types of Boomers. 🤔
