The VSC timing may have gifted HAM the lead, but it was HIS PACE that put him there! 🏆 📊 RACE PACE, PIT-EQUATED (1 extra pit = 22s lost): 1) 🟥Ferrari / HAM 2) 🟩Mercedes / ANT (first time they're not P1) 3) 🟧McL / NOR (~ same pace as ANT!) 4) 🟦RBR / VER On his extra stint, HAM was six-tenths faster than ANT on average, and still 0.27s/lap quicker even after accounting for the additional stop! #F1 #BarcelonaGP @ScuderiaFerrari @LewisHamilton

Have you noticed? 🤔 Compared to last year, #F1 race top speeds often approach 350 km/h but rarely exceed it: welcome to the '352 km/h Invisible Wall'! 👀 Overtake mode allows full 350 kW ERS deployment up to 337 km/h. Above that, power drops sharply, down to 0 kW at 352 km/h. Beyond that, only the ICE is working, with just ~550 hp! • Up to 337 km/h: High acceleration, thanks to active aero and ~1000 hp • 337 → 352 km/h: acceleration drops massively, as drag power grows cubically with speed while power falls linearly • Above 352 km/h: ICE-only, not enough to accelerate! Top speeds in Monza won't be much higher than 350km/h, but Monza-like top speeds will be reached in many other tracks! 💡

Ferrari's updates (worth an estimated 0.2s @GiulyDuchessa) worked: they were the team that lost the least time to '25, and had a shot at a 1-3 finish! HAM did a great job once again, while LEC must get out of his own head Compared to last year, Merc lost 0.13s to Ferrari, RBR 0.48s, McL 0.85s! Aston was over 6.4s slower than last year, basically F1.5 💀(ALO is rumoured to be in talks with Alpine) #F1 #BarcelonaGP
