I just setup a #bip110 node for someone at their house. It used an old PC with a 1TB drive. I had to use Ubuntu minimal server install (no gui, nothing), and lowered the reserved space by ext4. When it finally finished syncing, the drive was 93% full. It will stop working at 95%. That should allow this person to support bip110 for 12 months, after which the volume of spam on the Bitcoin blockchain will render this machine unusable as a full node. Spam is going to price this person out of running a Bitcoin node. Is that fair or right? Should plebs be forced to give up running a Bitcoin node through the actions of others?

@ssslomp @ajay9470 i would be ok with toml being the config lang for rust if rust also had a cargo check/fmt for it built in, but the weird error messages you get, no formatting support, makes it so bad

Rust folks will complain about how bad C++ build systems are and then go and write toml files

Обнаружил вчера забавный то ли баг, то ли фундаментальное ограничение текущего borrow checkerа в контексте partial moves: Вариант номер 1 не компилируется (cannot borrow attachment as mutable) Вариант номер 2 -- компилируется. И вся разница между ними лишь в одном вызове fn identity(x: T) -> T { x }
