We’re pretty much out of #Creon now and the pharmacy can’t get any. Creon is sourced from pigs, but I see no reason why human amylase, lipase, lactase and proteases can’t be made recombinantly in E. coli, just like insulin. #CysticFibrosis

The unseen side of CF. Creon is vital and the primary medicine we give to D&D everyday. They can’t eat any food containing fat without it. Note they are on Kaftrio and still require creon. Concerning that supplies are low but helpful to see this post from the CF Trust.
