So I’ve had to keep this close to my chest for a bit but the time has come.. ’The Last Artist’ was chosen as an official selection for this years 2024 @MetaCannes Festival 🔥🔥 Everyone please go follow them! 🙏❤️ This is the first film festival I have EVER been in and I am just blown away by the support and friends I have made in this space in such a short time. Makes me very hopeful for the future of this tech., what we do with it and how it’s bringing us together in new ways. I am so thankful for this opportunity to show the world my work and share this story and hopefully many more stories in the future. Shout out to @jordanbayne too for curating this, and doing such an amazing job! A lot of hard work goes into these festivals to support the arts and artists, it shows and is very much appreciated because without it we couldn’t do this 🫶

CALLADITA is landing in the U.S.A.! 🇺🇸 Calladita/ The Quiet Maid will have its North American Premiere in May at the 50th Seattle International Film Festival. We are so honored to take part in such a historic festival where so many incredible films have been presented in the last 5 decades. We are thrilled to share the story of Ana’s fight for freedom in the “land of the free”. This is also very special because the U.S. has played a key role in our movie throughout all its stages: ⭐️The original short film had a great premiere there at Palm Springs Shortfest and was then released by HBO Max. ⭐️Then the feature project was incubated in the Short to Feature Lab that my heroes @jimmycthatsme and Ben Wiessner run in Malibu ⭐️In our pioneering NFT crowdfund, over 200 of our backers were from the U.S. ⭐️In post-production, we had the immense privilege of receiving a grant from Steven Soderbergh at Sundance, given through our friends @decentralizedpictures ⭐️And now that the film will have its U.S. Festival Premiere, we have big plans for the future.
