Why are so many traders angry about getting moved to live? I thought the entire point of prop trading was to perform well enough to get access to live capital. It's literally in the name: sim to funded.

Updated $BITCOIN $BTC #BITCOIN charts Monthly: Not much to update here as we still have 2 more weeks before close. Would be interesting to see a double inside bar form, under the trend line. Daily: We popped above the trend line I was expecting to hold as resistance and hit 73K (calendar range level) and retracing. If we close back under the trend line, this would be a flush to the upside expecting downward pressure on price. However, IF the trend line were to play support, this would be bullish. Based on current events and expecting more stock market weakness to occur until mid/end of May, my bias on BTC is lower. I expect the bottom of the stock market to be around June/July and will BTC not far after.

I tested every indicator for 10 years: MACD, Bollinger Bands, Stochastics, Fibonacci, Volume Profile, Order Flow... After $83K in losses, I only use TWO: 1. RSI (tells me when to enter) 2. Moving Averages (tells me the trend) That's it. Everything else is noise. My 3-rule system for 95% win rate: Rule 1: Only sell puts on red days (RSI <50) Rule 2: Target 5% return in 30 days Rule 3: Close at 50% profit (5-7 days) Simple systems win. Complex systems lose. Hot take: No prop firm should permanently ban traders for performing well and getting payouts. A cooldown is a compromise that I think is perfectly fair.

How much capital do you need (prop firm or personal) to be able to trade full time as a job?

As you can tell by the #ES_F and #YM_F daily charts below with the January calendar range, YM is stronger. I am expecting the market to start to bottom / bounce back around June/July. Make sure you have the strong stocks on your list to take advantage. YM has been stronger all year so far and I expect that to continue. Keep is simple, no need to make things more complicated than it needs to be.

@My_Gavyy @tradertheory You can see who truly is a clown on here. Do the math guy. Most professional traders do 2% risk which is a $2K R. If you get 10R's for the month, that is $20K month. Most people who work full time jobs are not making $20K a month and is enough to pay for your $1000 healthcare
