@Tratnikstan The problem is that a lot of riders are riding like they could win these races and thus riding like they could loose the race instead of making Pogacar lose the race

Cycling will become/remain unwatchable until riders realise that the only way they have a chance to win against Pogačar/Mathieu is to do everything to make them lose.

@willfoth In theory this has been a punchy course only issue is that the course is too long. Look at the result list, it's not the pure climbers that are in front in this race. Skuijns wouldn't finish in a real mountainous race. I would even dare to say the race as more punchy than IBK

Processions ain’t good bike race viewing unless you are hard core Pogmeister fan. Time for the worlds to go back to punchy courses where there’s space for actual tactics and suspense
