Corey Heim is 2nd in the NASCAR Truck Series standings, but not eligible to make the Chase. In my opinion, the NASCAR waiver system isn’t needed. If you can make the Chase in less starts, you simply deserve it more than the others.

@The_xi6_man That's not exciting and teams remain stagnant even if the pick is good in the NFL because of the amount of players on the team. In the NBA a lottery pick can change the valuation of the team overnight this is rarely the case in the NFL

@Camelmotorsport @NWCS_Standings I like it. These days it's whatever because of charters, but if you had to qualify your way into every race I think that should be rewarded. I also think last place vs missing a race should be a bigger difference than 1 point but I don't know what the best balance would be.

@NWCS_Standings The biggest problem with this format is awarding too many points for just starting a race. Each value is 40 points too high in my opinion

For season long points, the 1st third of the season should matter as much as the 2nd third, that's how it makes sense. Besides, Connor Zilisch is likely the points leader if he doesn't miss the Texas race.

@nascar_opinion I thought it was "good" deep into long runs and bad on all the short runs. I probably would've voted yes if it ran green to the end instead of stopping with 15ish laps left. The Bell-Hamlin and Chase-Larson battles would've made for a nice ending.

I'm truly baffled at how this race is being voted. 56% thought it was a good race out of nearly 15,000 votes cast thus far. I'm a Chase Elliott fan, him leading laps does not make that a good race. I'm hoping other 9 fans aren't really voting positively become of leading laps.

@EricEstepp17 @mrjah02 While I disagree with the commentary used, you insinuated that Legge only got in because Heim made a mistake. Most likely not on purpose but leaving out that Legge also smacked the wall as well negates that they were pretty much equal in mistakes but she was still faster.

Pretty huge qualifying upset in Chicago. Heim hit the wall and bent something in his car, allowing Katherine Legge to qualify into the Cup race ahead of him.
