Back to School Extravaganza hosted by Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and Twin Lakes Food Bank was a success! There were lots of happy kids with new backpacks and school supplies. Folsom Fire Department is always happy to support these events that do great things for our community.

Yesterday, City of Folsom Fire Academy 22-1 participated in live fire training. This experience is essential in establishing the basics of firefighting. Special thanks to the @CosumnesFire for allowing us to use their training facility and Folsom CERT for rehabilitation support.

Advisory: From 9 a.m. to noon today, the Folsom Fire Department, in partnership with @FolsomPolice, @metrofirepio, and @CAStateParks, will conduct water rescue training at Black Miners Bar and surrounding areas. Be aware and use caution in this area during the training.
