Iran was also building larger and more advanced ballistic missiles. More specifically, at some point they would have developed intercontinental ballistic missiles if left to their own devices. Iran is the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. Not the Middle East. The world. Iran has also engaged in a covert war against America since 1979. Thousands of US troops and other innocent Americans have been killed by actions tied to the Islamic Republic. The IRGC and FARAJA at the direction of Khamenei recently slaughtered over 40,000 of its own citizens and wounded hundreds of thousands more. The ones who were wounded would likely be hanged from a yardarm if Pres. Trump hadn't taken swift action. Furthermore, the Iranian people were begging Pres. Trump to intervene. Not only to stop the slaughter of innocents but to liberate Iran from a brutal, evil regime. The United States should only participate in warfare when it is justified. How is a nuclear-armed Iran (with intercontinental ballistic missiles) and a specific hatred of the United States not an imminent threat to both the United States and the whole world, including Israel? If Iran had good intentions and its government was dignified, honorable, sought peace, and didn't use proxies to commit acts of terror, there would be no need to intervene in Iran militarily. The regime has brought this on themselves. Massie needs to go, IMO.

There are liberal viewpoints and there are conservative viewpoints. It's blatantly obvious the Left doesn't like opposing viewpoints. We have the US Constitution for a reason, FYI. It's called free speech in this case. In academic and public speaking contexts, opposing viewpoints are essential for demonstrating fairness, acknowledging multiple sides of an issue, and strengthening an argument by allowing the writer or speaker to anticipate and refute counterarguments. May the best argument or idea win. The field of science looks objectively at a problem or situation and then scientists explore the best way to provide a solution. You don't ban TV networks unless they are in gross violation of U.S. law. That's one reason why we have the FCC, i.e., to revoke broadcast licenses in gross violation of the law. The reason you want to ban Fox News is likely because their viewpoints don't line up with your radical Left viewpoints, no? Adolf Hitler banned media that had objective viewpoints to his Nazi-Socialist viewpoints. You see where this is going?

At some point the US needs to get rid of Fox News, its a disinformation centre that has caused billions of dollars of irreparable damage to the country and aided foreign governments into mind breaking large swaths of the population. It's anti-democratic.

Everyone said it would take years. Trump's HUD approved $1.4 billion for Helene housing recovery so fast that even Democrat Governor Josh Stein publicly thanked him for it. Trump's USDA delivered $221 million directly to WNC farmers who lost everything. Trump gave NC 6 full months of 100% federal cost coverage — one of the longest in FEMA history. The same people driving on rebuilt roads, drinking clean water, living the comeback... are out here protesting the man who made most of it happen. JUST GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!! I’ve been in Congress through divided governments, bitter fights, and historic crises. I’ve never seen anything like the last 24 hours. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson killed Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s bipartisan deal to fund the TSA, Coast Guard, and FEMA.  It was a deal that had the support of Senate Republicans and Democrats alike, 100-0! Why? Because Johnson places his own political survival and fealty to Trump over all else, including long waits at airports or anything else. We could have passed it in the House easily if only Johnson had allowed the vote to proceed. But instead he blew up the whole thing. Where this goes next is anyone’s guess, but what’s very clear is that Johnson is the worst and most subservient speaker in modern American history.
