The Department of Homeland Security says Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, a Mexican national, was the alleged leader of a terror plot targeting UFC Freedom 250 at the White House. The FBI arrested Alvarez in Omaha on the day of the event, and ICE later lodged a detainer against him. Administration officials say Alvarez orchestrated the failed attack and will be prosecuted before being deported. He came to the United States as a child and was granted DACA protection in 2014 after overstaying a B-2 visa that expired in 2001.
