Wouldn't it be more constructive if most of our collective labor went to making sure we have a functioning infrastructure and everyone's basic needs are fulfilled instead of being wasted on the further enrichment of the capitalist class?

@MikeBenzCyber The fact that your retarded take appeared at the top of my feed as soon as I logged in is proof that twitter's algorithm is intentionally elevating right wing nonsense.

You cannot reform a Gestapo.
Jim Acosta@Acosta

Today @RepJeffries told me House Dems plan to hold out for ICE reforms before supporting DHS funding bill that’s due by end of month. Jeffries wants requirements for warrants and that agents not wear masks during enforcement before Dems support that DHS funding bill.

A pregnant woman was involved. There are multiple electeds there. A physician asking to see the pregnant woman who is being denied access to care. They’ve gassed the house and there are at least 2, maybe 3 people inside. 23rd and Lyndale. May these pigs burn in hell.

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents shot a man in the leg as he ran into his own home… while a pregnant woman and children were inside, in Minneapolis. In the video, the family is heard calling the police for help, saying ICE agents followed the man for about 30 minutes. When he reached his home, he ran inside. An agent then opened fired toward the house, hitting him in the leg. Let’s be clear about what that means. Law enforcement is not allowed to use lethal force just because someone runs. Law enforcement is not allowed to fire toward an occupied home. Law enforcement is not allowed to seize someone inside their home without a judicial warrant, absent extremely narrow circumstances. This shot was fired in the direction of a house with children inside. This was not a split-second traffic stop. This was not an imminent threat to anyone inside that home. If families are calling the police because federal agents are firing toward their house, the question isn’t whether this is normal. The question is how much longer the government will keep violating the Constitution before someone else is killed.

🚨 CONFIRMED: A 21-year-old protester, Kaden Rummler, was shot point-blank in the face by a federal agent outside a federal building in Santa Ana, CA. Doctors say he’s now blind in one eye for life. He was holding a megaphone, not a weapon. DHS called it “a cut.” This is what “less-than-lethal” looks like when accountability is dead.

🚨MAJOR BREAKING: A man says after being stuck on Lyndale Avenue in Minnesota, and trying to leave the chaos, ICE officers threw a smoke grenade INTO his car where six kids were sitting. “I was just trying to leave.” What the FUCK is going on in Minnesota?

The bland managerial class of centrist liberalism will cut teacher salaries to buy the bullets they'll use to blow your brains out over your dashboard and then have the audacity to go on the news and frown over how awful it is someone else pulled the trigger.

MINNEAPOLIS Mayor Frey says he doesn't support abolishing ICE but "absolutely" opposes "the way that this administration is conducting themselves." Watch the full interview on @foxandfriends tomorrow at 8 a.m.

"I asked a number of Senate Democrats if increasing ICE funding is a red line for them in the upcoming budget negotiations. Most of the lawmakers I spoke with refrained from describing it in that way, opting instead to strongly criticize the agency without specifying what legislative action they might be willing to take to address the problems." thebulwark.com/p/senate-democ…

🚨 BREAKING: ICE agents in Minneapolis are seen arresting another teenager without verifying his identity first, and admit to it on camera. In the video, the teenager calmly tells agents he can go inside and get his ID to prove who he is. The agents refuse. Instead, they say they’ll “take pictures at HQ”… and then force him into their SUV anyway. That is deeply alarming. Law enforcement is not allowed to detain people first and figure out who they are later without lawful justification. Detaining someone without verifying identity, without probable cause, and without allowing them to present ID raises serious Fourth Amendment concerns. You cannot seize a person just to “check” who they are. This also mirrors what DHS has now openly admitted: that people are being detained first and sorted out later based on suspicion alone. That means innocent people, minors, and U.S. citizens are being taken into custody without verification, without charges, and without due process. If the government can forcibly detain someone simply to identify them, that is not law enforcement… that is unlawful detention.
