The Minneapolis City Council just devolved into chaos after a disagreement over 2 resolutions urging normalization of relations with Cuba and divestment of European financial institutions from companies that enable ICE and DHS, with council members LaTrisha Vetaw and Aurin Chowdhury getting into a tiff on the dais and Vetaw telling Council President Elliott Payne he doesn't know how to run a meeting, leading to a 5-minute recess. Chowdhury said she doesn't like coming to work to get bullied.

Trying to go after Frey for doing national media and putting a bid out for the NFL draft in response to a Ms. Chuhtai being criticized for promoting Cuba really doesn’t work bc in both those instances the mayor is clearly promoting the interests of Minneapolis.

I think you can make a sincere case about believing council member priorities should be focused on putting local issues at the forefront. I don't think anyone who worked as a campaign manager for an opportunistic, vain eel like Jacob Frey is any position to make that case.
