take a step back, zoom out and realize how good it is for the games long-term that someone like Gil (and his platform) is even interested in them - let alone voluntarily playing them. this should be shared, celebrated and hoped to be shared on his channel - not shunned! enough with the pearl clutching. you can't scream ban the tools AND ban any draft that doesn't color inside the 2-6-8-2 lines. u can't have poker tournaments w/o fish, a casino w/o whales, winners w/o a loser. these spaces are ecosystems - they're reliant on an influx of recreational money. And for them to continue the games need to remain FUN, flexible and inviting. the sales pitch isn't "welcome to BB - come stay in ur lane, draft one of 3 build types, turn $25 into $18 and flip coins on pod variance for millions!!" remember - ur not entitled to shit, especially EV. be thankful the games are policed and protected so well and work harder to find "soft" lobbies, edges and plays others aren't. i can't believe someone needed to be the voice of reason here.
