This latest announcement from the @MSidhuLiberal reflects continued progress in modernizing Portugal’s Maritime Patrol Aircraft fleet, building on the successful upgrades already underway. We recently kicked off the first of our Battle Lab Industry Days at our Ottawa headquarters, welcoming Canadian innovators @Tacteris and @VizworX into the Battle Lab. Our Mission Specialist, John Stegmeier, CD, was awarded with the NATO Special Service Medal by LCol Lentzakis (Acting Director, DLCSPM) in recognition of his deployments to Latvia supporting Canada’s contribution to the @NATO Multinational Brigade on #OpREASSURANCE. John provided critical in-field support to the Canadian-led brigade – even spending time there over Christmas – helping ensure operational success alongside our NATO allies. Our colleague Austin Douglas (Maj Ret’d) had the privilege of attending the 98th Annual Red Hackle Dinner – a long‑standing tradition honouring the dedication and service of the @bwrhc. A highlight of the evening was the fireside chat, moderated by Austin, with the Canadian Army Commander, @Army_Comd_Armee, and Army Sergeant Major, @army_SM_armee, centred on the Army’s Inflection Point 2025 publication. The discussion brought together military leaders, veterans, and the Guest of Honour, The Honourable @LGOntario, to explore the challenges that lay ahead for the @CanadianArmy, and how Army Modernization will meet those challenges. It is this collective community that can continue to support the defence community in its modernization goals.

At the @VanguardMag's #C4ISRandBeyond conference this week, the key takeaway was clear: real decision advantage starts with how we connect, integrate, and act together.
