@JETPICHU and that'll just make objectives feel pointless in festa i dont think there will be a lot of people who use DRE AND do the objective but overall i think people who wont/dont run DRE will just see most people try to run DRE and think DRE is ruining festa because WM is avaliable

@JETPICHU i dont think it should be banned actually but i think i understand why they're doing it. and yeah people who dont care for objectives will just run DRE and have a greater chance of getting good placements in the race vs people who try to do objectives

So where was nerfing gadgets when UC was around and thh I hate to be that guy but RE gadgets did not make the game unfair at all cause let me say this. Even IF we weren't allowed to boost stats the same players will still win all I'm gonna say, y'all just don't like fun lol.

@Emeralda_Chaos i fucking love drill (it was my favorite wisp) so it was a thrill for me in aqu park but i can totally see it as a flow breaker (but almost all the wisps were flow breakers so its like par the course) the jump spam stuff tho i totally get that

@GHShuffle I just think Hydrocity makes better use of its water although maybe that's just because the drill doesn't really do it for me and the 'swimming' in Sonic Colors always felt bad compared to the bubble shield and just moving through the water normally.

@Emeralda_Chaos I gotta say most of my hydrocity runs end up with me skipping most of the platforming and the ones i do do are the ones that require me to stop and wait so compared to aquarium park which constantly has you moving, i cant say i feel the same.

@GHShuffle Fair! But yeah, I was comparing Hydrocity to Aquarium Park because I think Hydrocity does a better job with making its water sections feel fast and rewarding you for platforming.

@JETPICHU and my viewpoint is that i think that the devs want to avoid people constantly running DRE, losing and ruining the race for the party (aka the curious buyers) or they end up winning but feel like they need DRE to win lol

@JETPICHU i mean that's what happened sometimes before DRE in festa. people would ignore the objective and run UC or air tricks or some shit and cost people the race lol people dont think they're gonna lose when they do that shit they think they're gonna carry but end up failing

@JETPICHU winning or not isnt really the point of contention i have about this either but just signing into festa, checking random builds in lobby while waiting, seeing so many people with DRE and then seeing results where you more than likely will place lower than DRE users (all skill lv)

@JETPICHU which in context to the free weekend that will be happening, has a chance to offput any curious players who may want to buy the game. Ultimately, festa i think will devolve into "if you don't have DRE or if you DRE" kinda like UC did, but i think it'd be worse
