I have no idea what comes next. 😅 I would just say: the huge puzzle piece fans and journalists have mostly overlooked is the extension he can sign in a month. When we started to hear rumblings of him being "frustrated" I wondered if that was an attempt to create leverage for the extension. It now seems like JB has been in Giannis trade talks since February. That may be why he's frustrated. I do think he has partly caused this situation by letting his ego run a little wild. Final thought: he has no control over his situation. If he wants out, the team can simply tell him no. 🤷‍♂️

If the general assumption is that Jaylen "wants his own team", are we sure he'd even be pissed to learn he was offered in a trade that would give him his own team? Maybe he was cool with either outcome? Maybe there was communication the whole time between Brad and Jaylen? We'll probably never know. Maybe he's pissed and a different trade is still coming. Just thinking out loud
