The score in all three films was spot on.
The stories were definitely naf but I think everything else carried the films.
After these KT I took the time to watch the original ST films, awesome films as well.
Just feel sad bc the KT had potential.

However these films got me interested in Star Trek, they were far from perfect but I do think that Beyond redeemed some of the mistakes that were made along the way.

Before J.J. Abrams took over, Paramount reviewed over a dozen scripts for a new Star Trek. Some focused on young Kirk and Spock, others on events after Nemesis. Abrams was chosen to reinvent the saga, not just resurrect it, and he absolutely succeeded.

343 are so staggeringly incompetent that even with the CE remake, where they didn’t have to touch level design, dialogue, story, encounters, or even do a multiplayer, they STILL trashed the Forerunner designs, character designs, sound design, and AI behaviour.
