@ironmikeluke If this is nonfiction, I say yes. They would author many victories.

Sources: Kansas sophomore Flory Bidunga intends to declare for the NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility. He also intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, as he’s keeping open the option to return to college.

@ratnerstar @Ike_Saul "Create stories" does not equal "fabricate information", which was explained by many including him at the time.

My hot take about the next few years is that decency is going to make a comeback. I don't actually think there are many Americans left who appreciate or enjoy this era we are living through; I think the indecency has been tapped. It'll just take a decent, charismatic leader.

@ironmikeluke After a week of listening to the arrogance of Tar Heels, now it’s entitled Wildcat fans. A Final Four is great. Team was picked 5th in the Big 12. Swept that rugged non-conference slate. Sometimes the other team is just better. Natty or misery is a terrible life choice.

@jasonscheer Glad to hear it. It wasn’t just a matter of missing shots. It was not having a Plan B when Plan A was shut down. Arizona practically ran no offense. Michigan did. 22 assists to 5 assists. They made the Cats play 1-on-1 ball the entire night. Nothing ever changed.

No excuses at the press conference. Tommy Lloyd and the players giving full credit to Michigan.

Will have full quotes later but Tommy Lloyd was very clear and adamant that he’s not satisfied with one Final Four.

Coaches to lose a Final Four game by 18+ points (shot clock era, since 1987): * Tom Izzo (twice) * Tom Crean * Steve Fisher * Bob Huggins * Lon Kruger * Mike Krzyzewski * Tommy Lloyd * Kelvin Sampson * Roy Williams

@windyzona17 @ironmikeluke Why does that matter? Michigan’s point and three other starters: portal. UConn’s back-to-back championship teams were led by portal guards. Current team: portal point guard. Is it bad that they didn’t develop point guards straight from high school?

@GaryCrooks @ironmikeluke And didn’t get him out of high school so this is irrelevant to my comment. He also doesn’t seem to like to recruit shooters either and yes that is meant to be out of high school too

Barring something totally unforeseen, I would expect Jackson Shelstad to be Arizona’s point guard next season #BacktheA

Dusty May basically just said that he felt his team is built perfectly this season for teams like Arizona that rely on inside scoring. It’s why they have done so well against them this season with guys like Mara, Morez, etc

@ironmikeluke @morepellent I like JS. Deep range. Super quick. A pg who can make teams pay for going under a screen. Haven’t had one of those in a long time. He will have to pick it up defensively. Why would he have two years? The injury?

I think most Arizona fans will be super upset for a day or two and then realize how fun and great this season was. If not, that's a them problem.
Andy@akunsberg

@jasonscheer Why does this tournament define your whole season. We have had a magical year.

@GaryCrooks @asymmetricinfo Gary, don’t you see that the headline was *deliberately constructed* to try to point out the ridiculousness of a North “America” treaty organization without America. That is flat out ignorance.

A thing I will never convince non-journalists of--but that every journalist knows in their bones--is that it's harder to spot mistakes like this than you think. We get most of them. But even with multiple layers of protection, some are gonna slip through.

@AriFleischer You sound like a guy who skips the first half of every book. In this case, Trump’s relentless abuse of allies. His cozying up to Putin. Blaming Zelensky for the war. Rest of us have read it from Page 1. Nice try.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.
