Nigeria 🇳🇬 has the most powerful military in West Africa and ranks 3rd in Africa. Nigeria feels like a safe haven for Africans if World War III/World War 3 (WWIII) breaks out.

Almost every woman I know personally has been sexually assaulted at some point in their lives. You can't think it's okay to shut people up from speaking up about assault because some people lie. If you lie, you should face consequences - but that's not the conversation I'm having. Nor is it one I'm interested in having. How many of your male friends have they lied against? How many of your friends have actually assaulted women as vibes?? Women are terrified to go out. Women in their homes are not safe either. Ask your sisters. Ask your female friends and your girlfriends. Ask your wives. We're not all crazy. STOP RAPING WOMEN!!

I listened to a story on TikTok live yesterday, about a man who has not spoken to his only sister since 2001 and till today, they still don’t talk. They were three siblings: two boys and one girl. Like many families, the two brothers were extremely protective of their sister. They supported her, stood by her, and gave her whatever they could. In 1994, she got married to an abusive man. Every time her husband beat her, her brothers would step in, take her away, treat her injuries, support her emotionally and financially. And each time, after everything, she would go back to her abusive husband. Then in 2001, things escalated. She was four months pregnant, her first pregnancy since married, her husband beat her again. The assault was so severe that she miscarried and nearly lost her life. At some point during the beating, she stopped responding and there was blood everywhere. The husband thought she had died and fled the scene. Neighbours contacted her family. Her brothers rushed her to the hospital. They got her treated. They got the husband arrested. Two weeks later, she returned to the husband’s house and begged her brothers to release him from custody. Their mother intervened. Eventually, the brothers ordered his release. And that was the breaking point. The oldest brother (the one narrating the story) decided that from that day forward, he would have nothing to do with her again. From 2001 to 2026, they have only seen each other at the burials of their parents and their other brother. And he has kept his word he still does not speak to her and has vowed not to until either of them dies. Sadly, since 2001 till now, the woman couldn’t conceive any other pregnancy, and the husband took second wife in 2005 and now have four kids Twenty-five years. I have never seen someone remain angry at their own sibling for that long. But beyond the anger, the story feels like something deeper and that is exhaustion and helplessness. Watching someone you love repeatedly return to what is destroying them. Pouring yourself into saving them, only for them to undo it. Over and over. It’s heartbreaking from every angle. A sister trapped in abuse. Brothers trapped in frustration. A family fractured by violence and choices they couldn’t control. Sometimes, what looks like anger is actually grief that never healed.
