@GeraldMarkJames "Relate to young adults/families" is an idol of which the church should repent. The plain exposition of the Scriptures relates to everyone who has breath. Dying churches are always convinced the solution is outside their building and congregation.

Twice now I've been turned down for a call because I'm too similar to the senior pastor and apparently mid-40s guy with teenagers and younger kids can't relate to young adults/families. #MakeItMakeSense

@WpgCyan777 That sucks. Did they even communicate to you? I've found in my experience, that most search committees are terrible at communication.
