Thank you for the warm welcome into the Bitcoin army. I’m Kwasi Kwarteng, I’ve got a PhD in economic history, 14 years as MP for Spelthorne, and formerly UK Chancellor of the Exchequer. I’ll be honest: in my time in government, Bitcoin wasn’t even part of the conversation at national level. That was a mistake — one I intend to help correct. I’m now Executive Chairman of a BTC treasury and I’m here because I believe Bitcoin will fundamentally reshape the global financial system. My background is in studying exactly these kinds of monetary transitions, and this one is real. Looking forward to the conversation.

I've been told there are no single men in bitcoin over the age of 40. And I'm like..... really. Really? I get they are all married and awesome and healthy and good husbands or wtf-ever.... but lots of people find bitcoin later in their lives no? After divorces or other life circumstances. Right? Dunno really... I really don't know how to respond to that. What say you?

@GhaffarBTC @AlexQuantumBoy Timing is tricky in this space. Markets can shift in an instant. I get the frustration, though. Seeing specific dates often feels like guesswork.

Michael Saylor's take is wild. If MicroStrategy grabs 5% of all Bitcoin, we're talking about $1 million per BTC. At 7%, that jumps to $10 million. Crazy numbers for sure.

The implementation of free market and capitalism in Eastern Europe made them not only much wealthier, but also significantly improved life expectancy. The only people in favor of socialism are those who have never experienced socialist misery by themselves. Don’t listen to them.

@robprogressive Disagree, Gold is very hard to own outright, can easily be faked, supply increases 2% a year, growth is very slow, can act as a decent store of value but not great in terms of return

What is the better investment, Gold or Bitcoin? Well other than both, I would actually say Gold Despite Bitcoin having greater scarcity, with only 21 million Bitcoin It does not have the history, it does not have the decentralisation & privacy once believed, & it does not have the same utility & human desire Yes more Gold could be mined, but it is not JUST about scarcity, it is also about demand And demand for Gold is more proven Not advice but I’m going to buy both FYI, as to me both feel well priced now compared to previous peaks & long term futures

The market is not pricing in Strategy being on pace to have 2 million Bitcoin by the end of 2027. The market is not pricing in that Strategy will have 3 million Bitcoin by 2030. The market is not pricing in that Bitcoin will be $500,000 in 2030. That is $1.5 TRILLION of capital in less than 4 YEARS. For reference, the world's biggest banks don't even have that in CUSTOMER DEPOSITS. In 5 years, Strategy will have more capital than the Mag 7 and Berkshire Hathaway COMBINED. TRILLIONS of PERMANENT CAPITAL. The world is totally asleep to this. The world has watched $250 million turn into $50 billion and are not realizing the machine is speeding up and not slowing down. Strategy just had its second best quarter EVER for Bitcoin acquisition... with the stock trading near NAV and in the middle of a Bitcoin bear market. Those who know where the puck is going will inherit incredible riches. This is the greatest wealth creation event in the history of the world.
