@MarcosMillaYT Investors who use such a combo might consider following that notion to its logical conclusion - that basically equals large cap blend, which is something like $VOO. Also, $SCHD, being 100% stocks, does not provide "stability" in any meaningful sense: x.com/OptimizedPort/…

Stop saying dividend stocks are "safer" or "lower risk." Same max DD for $SCHD and $VOO (the March 2020 flash crash). See figure 1. "BuT 2022!" - Yes, Value crushed Growth in 2022 (see Figure 2). What's your point?

@wcdispatch Why did CA not hire Japan to build this? They have done it, CA has not.

Fascinating. Here are some other things that cost $120B: The entire interstate highway system for the USA, ~$115B. The International Space Station, ~$125B. The U.S. Navy Ford Class Aircraft Carrier Program, ~$120B (~$13B per ship). But a train between two cities cost more?

In a 60 Minutes report, officials said they now believe the rail line linking L.A. and San Francisco could ultimately cost about $126 billion, more than triple the original price tag approved by voters. ktla.com/news/californi…

@HansMahncke I don’t know why they didn’t let Japan build it. They’ve done it before, CA has not.
