Tourists are unable to deal with the idea of complex or interesting characters. Paul Greyrat was a man who genuinely loved his wife, loved his kids, and loved being a cool knight who helped people. Yes, he cheated on his wife and hurt her, but the whole reason she was able to forgive him is because she was capable of understanding that he's a flawed man. He's a cad, he's a pervert, he's always been a lady's man and that was always his vice. At the same time, he destroyed himself searching for his wife and kids, and died for them without regret. He was a good man with flaws, a knight who made mistakes.

You don't have to like Rudeus, but at least judge him based on the story the author is telling. A flawed main character doesn't automatically mean the story is defending everything he does.

Hating Rudeus is fair if you don't like his character, but calling him a pedophile because he was reincarnated as a child is a weak argument. This is an isekai. He didn't choose to be reborn as a child. That's the world and story the anime is built on. You can criticize his actions, but don't ignore the context of the series just because you're judging it with real-life standards alone.
