@justincbzz Ukraine is now capable of cleaning the grey zones remotely via drones. The counter offensives will progress steadily while the logistic support to the russian troops will be systematically depleted by ukrainian strikes.

I don't think Russia has any way to stop the campaign to "disconnect" Crimea. It's too sensitive geography wise to be doable. No amount of moving air assets there will save it, and move assets there from where ? It's not like they have many to spare. A bigger concern for them imo should be the flow of supply to these fronts. What if Ukraine tries to cross the river again ? What if they intensify push in the Zapo front ? Ukraine will very likely try a "bold" move either later in the summer or as autumn arrives, before leaves die.

You honestly have to stand up and give a slow clap for the absolute strategic genius of Vladimir Putin. He launched a three-day war to completely "demilitarize" Ukraine and turn it into a defenseless buffer zone. 1,600 days later, he has accidentally created the most lethal, high-tech military superpower in modern European history right on his own doorstep.. 🇷🇺🤡🇺🇦 A massive new briefing from the atlantic council confirms what military analysts have been watching unfold by mid-2026: Putin’s master plan has backfired in the most spectacular way imaginable. Back in 2014, the Ukrainian military was an underfunded ghost town. Today? They have treated the battlefield like a brutal tech start-up. By ditching old-school bureaucracy and empowering young, creative commanders with domestic tech companies, Ukraine has built a drone arsenal so advanced it is literally making NATO generals blush during joint exercises. 🚀💻 Ukraine is now an undisputed drone superpower. They have single-handedly neutralized Russia's Black Sea Fleet using homemade naval drones, and are currently executing a complete "logistics lockdown" on the ryska armén using massive mid-range drone swarms. If Putin accepts peace now, he has to live next door to a permanently hostile, hyper-militarized powerhouse. If he keeps fighting, Ukraine just keeps upgrading its sci-fi arsenal while Russian troops are still begging for diesel for their 1980s tanks. This is the Kremlin’s ultimate geopolitical nightmare unfolding in 4K. Grab your popcorn, the coping is reaching terminal velocity! 😂🍿 Source: Strategic defense analysis by the Atlantic Council on Ukraine's military evolution (June 24, 2026).

@lobitocorriendo @IcarusTwit @Fooferan @AdrianP_doc 2010 neutrality vote was instigated by the deposed president and his party of the regions, which as you well know was supported by russian speakers. 2014 came and millions of russian speakers werent in any new elections,or votes. So the nato membership dynamic changed.

@IcarusTwit @Grahamfromeire @Fooferan @AdrianP_doc 2008 again, nice. No sources, you quoted. And 2010 is newer. And I really would like to have one to the statement that you did, about 2014. And yes, it was a statement. Are quotes sources? 2022, by Putin: “It fell to us to return what is Russia’s and strengthen the country.”

Except for Gary Kasparov, I have yet to see a Russian, even one who claims to hate Putin, to clearly state that Crimea belongs to Ukraine.

@JGPN877 @polidemitolog Devalue currency, convert all export earnings to rubles, pay of debt. Yes imports more expensive, but more rubles for government to play with and less imports. Problem solved.

@Grahamfromeire @polidemitolog You haven't lived through a hyperinflation, have you?! Because it shows.. We, on the other hand, have! And I can tell you that there are real fuxking social consequences to doing that... Also I trade debt for a living so you can spare the mechanics of debt monetization.

Russian government plans to increase defense spending this year by 4 to 5 trillion rubles, or 55 to 69 billion dollars, which is nearly 40 percent above the original budget, Bloomberg reported citing sources. This will push the deficit higher and lead to more internal borrowing, with debt service costs already doubled since 2022 and expected to reach at least 15 percent of GDP over the next decade.

Here is my assessment of the issue between Poland and Ukraine🇵🇱🇺🇦 It’s 75% Nawrocki’s fault, Nawrocki blew it out of proportion by taking away the Medal from Zelenskyy, and 25% on Zelenskyy’s, Zelenskyy started it by accepting the UPA name for the military unit. Then the rest it’s 50-50 on Polish and Ukrainian nationalists fueled by natural stupidity and Russian propaganda. Nationalism is a cancer of our society that Russia is using for decades, look at the MAGA in America, it’s a Russian creation.

@PKohotozajima @vasilina_orlova You do realise that Russia has been hitting Ukraine with missiles and drones for the last 4 years, Ukraine imports all its fuel and half its electricity, the state functions on external financing and the military is totally dependent on foreign aid.

The only copium of assorted pro-Russians left is Russia advancing in Kostyantinivka. However, Russia will sooner or later have to leave all the Ukrainian land Russia illegally occupies. The only internationally recognized borders of Russia are the borders of 1991.

@Grahamfromeire @polidemitolog It's not 1%. Debt servicing has doubled from 4.5% of the total federal budget to 9% in just 4 years. That makes it around 3.5% of GDP. That's a huuuuge increase. For example US debt servicing is currently around 3.3% of GDP and that's already causing issues.

@polidemitolog @JGPN877 Its internal debt, financed by the central bank and the banking centre. No danger of external pressure, yes higher inflation. The Federal debt to GDP ratio any G7 country would kill for.

Due to high central bank interest rates, debt service has already doubled since 2022 and is taking up roughly 9% of total federal expenditures. Over the next decade, interest payments to service this debt are expected to cost at least 15% of GDP. When the Russian ruble becomes reserve currency, we can make comparisons with the US.

Here is the moment when Polish Foreign Ministry Radoslaw Sikorski reminded America, UK, France and damn Russia that they guaranteed Ukrainian security and borders in 1994🔥👏 Sikorski: “As you know, Russia, the USA, and Great Britain guaranteed the security of Ukraine and its borders. In exchange for Ukraine giving up what was then the third largest arsenal of nuclear weapons in the world. In 1994. So you have an obligation to Ukraine to help them defend their freedom.”
