depression is the incapacity to find amusement in life neuroticism is maladaptive threat modeling incapable of being fully present in life anxiety is the result of a fear-based nervous system many forms of “mental illness” can be solved via health and improving ones physiological circumstances but most of it is a mental thing you can optimise your health all you want, but if you’re incapable of solving your mental then you’ll never be free from mental illness no matter how “healthy” or “vital” your body is we see this all the time, especially on health twitter - so many people obsessed with their physical health, but ironically not realizing that the obsession itself is a neuroticism that keeps them trapped in mental illness, despite how good they might look or how good their health markers may be I’ve broken down my body before from excess drugs and alcohol - I’ve sat in prison with a poor health and horrible circumstances yet even in those times I was never close to as neurotic and anxious as most of these health influencers I was still laughing and joking around, and sometimes I even miss it because it was like every day was an episode of trailer park boys, just laughing and having fun if you have fun and you have a strong spirit then you’ll never be broken despite what your health or circumstances may be and vice versa, you can have the best health and circumstances and still have a broken spirit vitality is a matter of spirit more than anything else few understand

David Pocock shreds the idea that gas giants choosing to invest in pipes should mean they avoid tax "No other sector in our economy gets the raw material for free"🔥 Tax breaks for big corps who get our resources for $0 doesn’t make us the lucky country—but the stupid country.🙄

111 years ago today, on April 24, 1915, Ottoman authorities arrested and deported hundreds of Armenian intellectuals in Constantinople — the start of the Armenian Genocide. A systematic campaign followed: death marches, mass killings, starvation, and cultural destruction. Historians estimate 600,000–1.5 million Armenians perished. (vid credit armeniatour_)

Everyone should read what the Israeli military did to journalist Amal Khalil today in this minute-by-minute account as the international community watched in horror. First the text messages threatening her then trapping her and a photographer in a house then bombing them then firing on international rescue crews, all with the world watching in real time. There are no words left for the horrors that U.S. political leaders are enabling.

🚨BREAKING🚨Israeli forces are now issuing direct death threats to Lebanese journalists on WhatsApp as well as besieging them. Al-Akhbar correspondent @AmalKhalil83, who has been documenting the devastation across southern Lebanon, received these messages from an Israeli number (+972 54-869-5113): “We know where you are… we will reach you… leave if you want to keep your head on your shoulders.” First message: “Alright, my lady, you are moving from one village to another, but you still haven’t gone to enough funerals or hospitals. There is a lot of grief & sorrow behind that smile you try to show on Twitter. Let’s see what your answer will be… Is your house still standing, Anisa (Miss)? I hope so?” Second message: “We know where you are & we will reach you when the time comes. Even though you are not important to us, in the end we will take everything into account. I suggest you flee to Qatar or somewhere else if you want to keep your head connected to your shoulders :)” This is not intimidation. This is the IDF issuing an explicit death threat to a journalist for covering their crimes. At the same time, Israeli forces besieged Amal al-Khalil & journalist Zeinab Faraj in al-Tayri, blocking the Red Cross & Lebanese Army from reaching them. They were in a delegate vehicle when a drone strike hit a vehicle behind them, killing two people. Both journalists were trapped at the scene. Amal contacted the Red Cross before her phone died. Her last message confirmed she was still safe. Rescue teams still cannot reach the two besieged journalists, Amal al-Khalil & Zeinab Faraj. They are just 500 meters away, but the road has been cut off by an Israeli strike, according to Red Cross paramedics. This is targeting journalists in real time. This is a crime. Pure state terrorism against the press.

They could only be talking about Lascars of which there were none in the First Fleet. There were some with the Sydney Cove when it sank near Preservation Island, 1797. But they arent confirmed to be Muslim either.
Meshy@meshygrey

An official government document containing activist history and clear inaccuracies is now preserved in the national archive. Future generations will read it and get a distorted view of Australia’s past. The Albanese Government launched the Multicultural Framework Review report Towards Fairness on 24 July 2024 together with its formal response. homeaffairs.gov.au/multicultural-… On page 18 it claims Muslim people were among the convicts on the First Fleet. This is incorrect. There were no confirmed Muslims on the First Fleet. Muslims arrived as isolated individuals in the early 1800s, with the first significant community (Afghan cameleers) only in the 1860s. The report praises the Afghan cameleers but omits the 1915 Broken Hill attack, where two cameleers carried out Australia’s first jihad terrorist attack on a civilian picnic train, killing 4 people. The Government had months to review the draft. These errors should have been corrected, not added to the archive! @andrewjgiles @aushomeaffairs @ausgov @naagovau @DaveSharma

A random YouTube channel just did the back to back calculations on his theory that Starlink v3 is useable/used as global real time space based phased radar array. It’s an extremely daring hypothesis with a very exciting chain of reasoning backing it up. Link in reply.
