@StevenS10932 @askghmedia So because you pay tax so you shouldn’t clean your environment or partake in a nationwide clean up exercise? See who is talking about hypocrisy

@Gregory_Appiah @askghmedia To each his own you choose to endorse hypocrisy i choose to call it out cause she could have made her case without the media circus trying to shame people whose taxes are used to pay her

It's the sense of entitlement to other people's hard-earned money for me..." A Ghanaian woman has sparked debate on social media after sharing her views on what she describes as the growing sense of entitlement some people in Ghana have toward relatives living abroad.

These two Fraudsters have a funny Story Especially how they finally got arrested Stay with me -During the course of their romance scam activities, they came across an American woman and defrauded her of millions of dollars. Frustrated by her losses, she reported the matter to the FBI. The FBI then recruited her as a decoy becoming an undercover operative. The woman requested to travel to Ghana to meet the friends she had been sending money to but had never met in person. They accepted her request, and she flew to Ghana. They met her and, without any suspicion bonded quite well. As you may know, many such fraudsters do not receive money directly. Instead, they use people with bank accounts to receive the funds on their behalf in exchange for a commission. One of the individuals recently extradited to the United States was one of those account providers. According to reports, he worked with the twins during the period they defrauded the American woman. While in Ghana, her main assignment was to identify the network the suspects used to operate their romance scam. She played her role so convincingly that the twins even featured her in one of their music videos. As many people know, some fraud suspects invest in the music industry to launder the proceeds of crime and make the money appear legitimate. In addition they introduced her to their bank account providers and other alleged fraud boys within their circle. Later, they found another "client" online—another intended victim. This time, the woman even offered to let them use her U.S. bank account to receive the money so they could access it more easily. They agreed. What the twins didn't know was that this supposed victim was actually the FBI. Investigators had created a fake identity posing as a romance scam victim, while their American friend was secretly working with the agency. Through their conversations, some money was transferred to them. In total, they were expecting to receive about US$2 million. However, the supposed victim requested to meet the woman in whose account the money was being received, since the conversations suggested that she was in the United States rather than Ghana. He claimed he would hand over the remaining funds to her in person. The woman informed the twins, and they agreed to travel with her to the United States to collect the rest of the money—leaving Ghana. According to the plan, they intended to receive the money, launder it back to Ghana, and use part of it to purchase properties in the United States. The woman “helped” them obtain visas, booked their flights, and they set off on their journey. By the time they landed in the United States, the FBI was already at the airport waiting to receive them.

Nobody is saying don't help the country. But there’s a difference between voluntary community service and citizens being forced to do the basic drainage maintenance that municipal budgets are explicitly funded for. We can love our country and still demand accountability for our money.
