Our canon of Scripture was either entirely written by Jews or all but two to three books were written by Jews, depending on what you believe about the author of Hebrews and whether or not you think Luke was a Jew or a gentile. Jesus's disciples were all Jewish. Paul, who wrote a majority of the texts of the New Testament was a highly trained Pharisee.
