@TradAdvocate This only makes sense if the husband was the primary caregiver to begin with and she made significantly more income than him. Stay at home dads shouldn't be left without any financial support suddenly just like I stay at home moms shouldn't.

My first year in case management we had an elderly woman found down at the grocery store. She was somnolent then confused. Frail. Kept mentioning a name when she finally woke up — we thought it might be a dog or cat so we called animal control.
It was her disabled son who hadn’t eaten in days, alone.
Our social nets are small and they are shrinking.

@SussexHenryVIII I worked in a group home where we had fully grown but disabled adults that we had to bathe, change diapers, feed, administer medication, and manage everything for. Their elderly parents could no longer take care of them. That's literally the best outcome you can hope for.

@kaitybella I'm all for families doing what they need to do, but if a guy is telling you this early in the relationship, think twice. If you bring up that you want to work or propose the possibility that he stay with the kids, watch what his reaction is. It will tell a lot.

You should really be asking yourself "Why doesn't my wife want to willingly have sex with me?" instead of trying to guilt her into 'duty/obligation' sex, which is about as seductive as a damp handshake.

So, here's the thing, if you get married, you do, in fact have an obligation to provide sex. Not necessarily on demand, or in every instance of desire, and definitely not in the case of sickness, but if you expect sexual fidelity and monogamy from your partner, then the responsibility exists to provide sex. And where most of these relationships are going wrong is they are sexual, and do require monogamy, then one partner, typically the woman, unilaterally decides the withdraw sex. What they wont say is that it's over. So, instead, they will lie repeatedly, and give excuses, and string their husband along with hopes of rekindling that part of the relationship, when the responsible thing would be to just be honest and say it's over. No one gets to unilaterally change the terms of a relationship like that and expect the other person to be ok with it, or demonize them if they aren't. He signed up for monogamy, not celibacy. So, either fix it or be honest and end it.

16-Year-Old Girl Sexually Assaulted in Ambulance
Riverside County, California A 22-year-old EMT named Jason Dean Anderson allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl in the back of an ambulance while transporting her.
The girl was restrained with her arms and legs tied down. The ambulance driver reported Anderson to authorities, helped get him arrested, and encouraged the victim to speak up.
Anderson faces felony sexual assault charges on a minor.
