@pokerheadrush You effectively have 8 outs with 2 cards to come, roughly 33% chance to make your double gutter straight by the river, I’m all in. We have all the sets & two pairs on this board while he at best has an over pair or set 9s very rarely. Make him make the tough choice.

👊 Welcome back to "Throwing Hands" with Assassinato 🔥 ♠️ ♦️ 🥊 In this hand, I was playing a low-stakes online tournament, and I had 6♠ 7♦ in the big blind. It was folded around to the hijack, a very loose aggressive player, who made it 2.5 big blinds from a 60 big blind stack. I also had a 60 big blind stack. It was folded around to me in the big blind, and I called the raise. The board came 3♥ 9♣ 5♦. I checked my 6♠ 7♦. My opponent bet 2.8 big blinds. I check-raised to 8.6 big blinds because my opponent had been opening so many hands and continuation betting with all of them. I was going to catch him with nothing the majority of the time here. He then made it 18 big blinds to go. What would you like to do here? Would you like to fold? Would you like to call? Or would you like to raise?

@pokerheadrush Depends if this is a passive / station style of loose player or aggressive / thinking style of loose player. Aggressive / thinking style, I’ll check call 2 streets for max profits. Passive station I’m raising & betting river.

👊 Welcome back to "Throwing Hands" with Assassinato 🔥 ♠️ ♦️ 🥊 In this hand, I was playing $1/$3 no-limit hold’em in a private game. Lojack went ahead and limped in. So did the button and the small blind. I made it $20 with A♦ Q♦ out of the big blind. The lojack called. Everybody else folded. The lojack was a loose player who loved to gamble with me.  The board came Q♥ 7♠ 3♥. I continuation bet $25, and my opponent called. We now both had $253 in our stacks, and there was $97 in the middle. The turn was the 4♣. Here, would you like to check or bet? I checked to the loose player, and he bet $25. What would you do here?

“Maybe I can just limp and see a cheap flop” is usually a trap, not a strategy. Someone behind you often has a real hand and will raise, leaving you with a bad price to continue.

The 'in the Hands of The Fans' tag has literally allowed them to make anything happen then pin it on us like we did this. I dont think any fan was like 'Yo Jeff, keep the 26 days so that you have to Yeet three people in one night. Also do it in three groups of five.' #Survivor

@hungryhorsepokr & when the donkey spazzes a check raise on the river because your size is so small it screams weakness?

you're planning to bluff the river and top card pairs. how much do you bet? a lot of players give up. some bet large. but very few think about what they're actually trying to fold. trips aren't folding. not to any size. the hands that actually fold here: missed draws. say we get here with 8 high. we don't need a jackhammer. we need a scalpel. size down. target the range that can actually fold, and stop giving up with 8 high and losing to a king high bricked flush draw.

@pokerheadrush but what if the people who constantly 3 bet u are people who play way too many hands?

Calling too many reraises is often a sign your opening range is too loose. If stronger players keep three-betting you, tighten up before the flop instead of donating chips in ugly spots.

Hey everybody... In this hand, you’re playing $1/$2 no-limit hold’em online. You’re playing six-max, and you have $200 in front of you. It gets folded to you in the cutoff, and you raise with A♠ K♣. It folds to the small blind, who calls. The big blind folds. The flop comes 2♥ 3♥ 6♠. The small blind checks, and you continuation bet $4 into $14. The small blind calls. The turn is the 4♦. Now the small blind leads $9 into the $22 pot. There is $31 out there, and you have $190 back. What would you like to do with your hand here?

@VanjaPoker I’ve made tons of money off the “respected regs” at my local casino as a recreational player. Just watch them, most of them scroll on their phone.

Controversial take: 90% of tough live poker lineups are 3 mediocre regs and 5 recreational. Almost all regs you face are worse than you think. Poker players are lazy and have many leaks. Becoming good at this game is easier than it was 15 years ago. It’s on you to become great.

this is so funny because what he said was an objective fact. rob backstabbed both female traitors and is loyally protecting a male traitor, that’s not something that you can argue it’s just what happened
The Traitors HQ@the_traitors_

NEW 🔥 A source close to The Traitors calls Chris Bassett's claims about Rob not defending his fellow female Traitors "outrageous and ridiculous": "Rob is playing this game strategically and to win, regardless of who the players left are. He’s playing to win like everybody else."
