@LivDevil_ Illfonic didn’t make TCM, nor did Gun, it was Sumo Nottingham, Gun did publishing for TCM which isn’t the same as developing at all, blame Sumo for the game dying because they’re the ones who left abruptly during the games life cycle with no reason given as to why they did so.

Just a reminder that this game is from the same company that decided to drop the Texas chainsaw massacre games outta nowhere and decided not to give any updates or the dlcs they promised on their “season pass”

@MutedNotSuited DBD is literally only still going thanks to all the licensed DLC packs they’re able to sell, if they didn’t have any of that then the game would’ve been dead by now

This is not a good thing. You know why a lot of asymms fail? Because players in the larger group like to gang up on the single player. That means no one wants to play the single player. DBD works because survivors CAN'T down the killer, the most they can do is a quick stun.

@ScottJund Why must you people make everything about DBD? Like it’s not going to kill that game so I don’t get the urge to try and ward off people from wanting to play this, especially when everyone at PAX has said this was really fun to play

i know a lot of people think I'm a DBD suckup when I say I have zero hope for this game but I want to make it clear nothing would be better for DBD than this game being good.

I just said above that both parties of the lawsuit (aka miller) gave Gun and illfonic permission to continue working on the game… Gun doesn’t care about the game or the players, or hoe popular it is. They only care about money. That’s it.

The devs dropped it months before the lawsuit started then used the lawsuit as an excuse. The information is literally available.

They were legally barred in the same sense that you’re legally barred from unlocking your own car door. Aka they weren’t. It was an excuse.
