This is not a good thing. You know why a lot of asymms fail? Because players in the larger group like to gang up on the single player. That means no one wants to play the single player. DBD works because survivors CAN'T down the killer, the most they can do is a quick stun.

i know a lot of people think I'm a DBD suckup when I say I have zero hope for this game but I want to make it clear nothing would be better for DBD than this game being good.

I just said above that both parties of the lawsuit (aka miller) gave Gun and illfonic permission to continue working on the game… Gun doesn’t care about the game or the players, or hoe popular it is. The devs dropped it months before the lawsuit started then used the lawsuit as an excuse. The information is literally available.

They were legally barred in the same sense that you’re legally barred from unlocking your own car door. Aka they weren’t. It was an excuse.
