They came back searching for his mobile and mentioned that two people were sitting in a Mercedes car and they were consuming alcohol. My husband and son tried to explain to them that this is a respectable society, and you are not supposed to do this. They started using abusive language and passing certain illicit comments, as I was also there. We called the PCR vehicle... The cop came, and he was about to take my statement. This individual, who was in the driving seat, made him speak on his mobile to someone. The cop came back, and he refused to write my statement... 7-8 goons came out from a cab, and started assaulting both my son and my husband. I went back to the cop who was sitting in the PCR van, requesting him for some assistance. But he refused... At around 10.45 PM, we went to the Vasant Vihar police station. There was a lady cop there who misbehaved with us, saying that we troubled them in the night... The PCR cop had reported to the police station the wrong vehicle number... We were not provided any medical assistance. Finally, we were able to give a written complaint to them at 2.13 AM..."

No one goes to the app store to search which app to download. They already know. It's an intent-based activity. People who pay for ads here are fools. If I'm searching for Netflix on the app store, I won't download Amazon Prime just because it appeared in ads before Netflix. That applies to small apps too. App stores are intent-based. There's no point advertising on them.

Search for @zerodha on Google or the app stores, and the first thing you'll see is ads from our competitors. The only way for us to show up first is to bid on our own brand keyword. So we'd essentially be paying to be visible when a customer is actively looking for us by name, and if we don't, competitors will happily take that spot. What's worse is that ads now show up above and below our own keyword. That tells you everything about where platforms are headed. The only winners here are the app stores who collect the ad spend on top of the commissions they already charge on in-app purchases. And one way or another, this marketing spend eventually flows back to customers in the form of higher prices. We live in a world where everybody keeps talking about disintermediation, but these platforms are some of the most powerful and profitable gatekeepers in history. They sit in the middle and monetise both sides. If you believe in the logic of enshittification, this is just the beginning. Platforms extract as much as they can, for as long as they can, until they can't. More ads means more scrolling before you hit any organic results, which means brands that don't pay simply stop being visible. That's manageable if you're a large company with a marketing budget. For smaller businesses and startups it can be devastating. They just can't afford to keep up. The sheer irony of having to pay to show up when someone is already searching for you by name never stops being absurd.

नोएडा में आज सेलरी बढ़ाने की डिमांड के नाम पर अराजकता का नंगा नाच हुआ है। इस भीड़ को लीड करने वाला कोई नहीं था। इन सभी हिंसक प्रदर्शनकारियों की उम्र 25 से 35 साल के बीच रही होगी। नोएडा के जितने भी औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों में फैक्ट्रियां हैं, लगभग सभी में तोड़फोड़ हुई है। गाड़ियां तोड़ी गई हैं, जलाई गई हैं। नोएडा पुलिस भी क्या करती? जितना पुलिस फोर्स पूरे जिले में है, उतना कर्मचारी तो यहां 2 फैक्ट्रियों में होते हैं। फिलहाल दोपहर बाद पुलिस ने ऑपरेशन "धरपकड़" शुरू कर दिया हुआ। बड़ी संख्या में उपद्रवी धरे गए हैं। आज की रात मुकदमों की रात है।

Update – ये Video नोएडा में भारत नेटवर्क ग्रुप (BNG) के ऑफिस की है। ऑफिस परिसर में हिंसक भीड़ हंगामा कर रही है। ऑफिस के एक केबिन में कर्मचारी छुपकर ये Video शूट कर रहे हैं। उस वक्त इन कर्मचारियों में कितनी दहशत होगी, ये इस Video से झलक रहा है।
