@JenniferSey @HarmeetKDhillon How about those of us who think you are beautiful both within and without a d consider you a virtual friend?
English

To all the people in my mentions and DMs telling me I look old ... I am! That's not an insult! That's like telling me I'm short. I'm just fine looking the age that I am. Why shouldn't I be? (I'm fine being short too.)
To all the people telling me I look "trans" or like a man ... I thought "trans women" are women and are more beautiful than real women or "c*s" women? So I'll take it as a compliment. Thank you!
To all the people telling me I look like the Hulk and look at your neck! See point 1, yes we age. Grateful to have the opportunity to do so. Also, the Hulk looks and is strong, so again, I'll take it as a compliment. Thank you!
Happy Monday!

@JenniferSey @SteveDeaceShow Hold my beer, 77. And in total awe of you. Still bicycle 4000 miles a year.
English

@SteveDeaceShow You’re ok steve. I’m older than every one of those people. Shoot me now.

@Lincoln_VB I was wondering what happened. Great game! Gritty win against a great team. Needed Cooper as Londot not having the best game. Too inconsistent.
English

@JenniferSey She would not stand a chance. Stay strong! Got your back.

Sports journalist Sally Jenkins considers herself a pro-women's sports advocate.
Yet she has not stood up for the protection of women's sports. She has taken the opposite position in fact. She believes fairness in sports isn't possible so female athletes should stop claiming "frailty."
She has also attacked female gymnasts, calling them "hissy pixies" for calling out abuse.
Sally has gotten every major issue in sports wrong: doping, abuse in gymnastics and now men competing in women's sports.
She has now deleted her X account.
I've offered to debate her on all issues pertaining to women's sports. My offer stands.
English

@JenniferSey 100% this! She is an incredibly talented skater. Loved watching her programs.
English

@ACTBrigitte Do you not understand how these votes work? Allows him to bring it back to a vote. It's procedural. Do your homework.
English

@Lincoln_VB When do you think they will gel as a team? Getting very discouraged as a season ticket holder. I watch other teams and they are tough! Good volleyball. I am not seeing good volleyball on our side. A lot of deficiencies to fix.

It was a homestand gone awry. The Supernovas lost all three matches in Omaha during the past week after falling to Columbus 3-1 on Thursday night.
“What we’re doing right now, that’s where we are, and it’s not enough,” Omaha coach Luka Slabe said.

@Lincoln_VB @AvidVolley 3 year season ticket holder here. No team chemistry. Too many service errors and soft middle hits. Not impressed with new coaches. Taking crowd out of it.
English

@AvidVolley Yes, that's right. There were tornados in west Omaha that day. There was a weird vibe in the arena that night, for sure.
It's a bit cold tonight, but the super frigid weather isn't supposed to roll in until after midnight.
English

@alisahalpin @AvidVolley Maybe if he actually coached? His style not working.
English

@AvidVolley I'm over his coaching decisions and we're only on game 5.
English

@AvidVolley Something has to change. No team chemistry. And play is taking fans out of it.
English

@OmahaSupernovas 1. Need tougher serving
2. Run middles!
3. Blocking!
4. Receive/passing!
We folded sets 3-5. Conditioning? Hard to watch.
English

@KatTimpf @mattkibbe These last several weeks you have really stepped up your game on stating your opinions. Very honest and consistent. And I very much appreciate and respect. It's complicated and one can only hope the present administration has learned from history. Keep being you.
English

@JenniferSey @Dierenbach Ah, hard no! Support and respect both of you.
English

@Dierenbach Yes. You also think everything else I think. Sorry! Thems the rules!
English

Because I congratulated Bari Weiss I can't possibly be sincere in my support for women's rights - our right to safety, privacy and fair competition.
Because I congratulated Bari Weiss everything I do is really about Israel and I just cover that up by pretending to care about other things. I'm so sneaky!
Sounds like an age old bigoted cliche about Jews doesn't it? Because it is.
By the way, a $15 tee is most likely made somewhere with inhumane conditions. Possibly with forced child labor. So, not so human rights-y really. I'd be pretty careful about that, Seattle.

@JenniferSey @nytimes i have canceled my xx xy order and will be creating a 15 dollar t shirt alternative for people to express gender criticism without your Zionism. You are just using us for your Zionism. How dare u. The two have nothing to do with each other.
English

I'm reading Graham Linehan's book "Tough Crowd."
He's funny. I mean he should be, he's a comedy writer.
But beyond that, it really hits home. It's hard for me to read.
We were both cancelled by the woke-sters even though apparently "woke" isn't even a thing, according to the @nytimes.
We were both at the top our game. But in different countries and different industries. And different issues got us dragged across the internet and in our very own communities.
But the parts where he talks about waiting for his friends and colleagues -- people he'd known for decades -- to defend him, to stand up for him, with him -- that's the part that just brings it all back.
When the people who KNOW you, know what's in your heart, stand by and do nothing to speak in your defense, and they watch your whole life get torn to shreds -- well, it blows. My heart will always be just a little bit broken by it. Even though I'm happy and I do have new friends and a new life -- which I love.
You can say it all you want -- "they weren't your friends anyway" -- but it will never not hurt some.
People you spent years with, went to their weddings and baby showers and celebrated with and consoled when things didn't go their way; people who you worked side by side with, defended, and fought with and for -- when they remain silent, it's hard not to be angry.
But you keep going. You find new friends. A new life. Not the one you planned.
Thanks @Glinner for your voice. For your relentlessness. For the book. For your sense of humor.
Glad we got to hang out just the other weekend.
English

@JenniferSey Thank you! Where can I get hat? I don't see on your site.
English

@OmahaSupernovas Welcome! Looking forward to cheering you on.
English

@JenniferSey I love both your takes and find your writing thoughtful. Have tremendous respect for you. And I'm a conservative. We need people to listen to each other with heart and mind. Proud wearer of your shirts.
English

I write a substack (who doesn't?!) where I write about basically anything that interests me.
People who started reading because of my takes on gender stuff hate my covid takes (anti-lockdown).
People who like my covid takes hate my Israel takes -- which I rarely have. But I'm Jewish so hey, that's enough to make me a genocider. And an "idiot who doesn't see what is happening and who is in control!"
And for many who like my gender takes AND my covid takes, I'm not conservative enough for a gazillion reasons because I'm not actually a "conservative."
You just have to say what you think. That's all you can do. So I do.
English

@JenniferSey But look at the new friends you have who value you and your courage ❤️
English

There are people who used to be in my life who have cut off contact because I’m a fascist. Or something.
Then there are those who condescend to still speak with me, and consider themselves quite open minded and magnanimous in doing so. But still consider me fascist adjacent.
I don’t know which bothers me more.
The number of old friends who still like me and consider me a good human I can count on about 2 fingers.
