The term “Caucasian” is nonsense. All white people don’t come from the Caucasus Mountains. It was created to give “whiteness” legitimacy by connecting it to a region of common heritage. “White” was constructed to keep power in the hands of certain people while excluding others.

While CRAASH members went into the town hall, so many others stayed outside to march and continue the energy of the rally. Amazing job everyone!

#CUNYNotHQ2/#FuckOffAmazon protesters tried to march through one of the Hunter College buildings but were stopped by a line of NYPD. Large police presence (including NYPD legal & the anti-protest Strategic Response Group aka SRG) outside of NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio’s town hall.
