Being real about these facts though undercut your campaign narrative so you give talking points instead.

I'm running for mayor to address the root causes of these problems. I have always opposed displacement and other problematic housing practices.

To this date no politician has stepped up to suggest an alternative. Until then we all remain at risk getting of zoned out

4 or 5 years ago community members shut down one of the 1st MIH rezonings, pressuring the developer to withdraw the application. Now, with @JimmyVanBramer on his way out, they're back again with the same nonsense. No doubt JVB told Phipps to come back in a few years & try again.

That means there's literally no affordable housing being built for people below that income level, it's designed that way.
