ICYMI:

Venezuela and the Dominican Republic have both advanced to the semifinals of the WBC and have both secured their spots in the 2028 Olympic tournament. Pool D is no joke, and playing against the best makes us better. Good luck to both teams in their semifinals tomorrow and Monday!

@_losdominicanos @LA28 If Venezuela comes back to win against Japan, they'll clinch their spot as well. If not, that spot will go to either Venezuela or Canada, depending on the WBC tie break rules.

Congrats to our friends @_losdominicanos! With Puerto Rico's loss this afternoon, DR has officially clinched their spot in the @LA28 Olympics baseball tournament (the first men's team in any sport to clinch a spot).

@ILBaseball How can you say you fielded the best team you’ve ever brought? You got destroyed twice and only won 2 games. 2017 went undefeated in pool and won the group, with wins over 🇰🇷 and 🇳🇱. That team would beat this team for sure

That's a wrap on our 2026 WBC campaign folks. We won more games than last time, so red more runs, had competitive at bats in every game, and fielded the best team we've ever brought to this event. Great things ahead for Israel Baseball, so stay tuned.
