@MickeyD44314901 @StevenJonMiller @BraisbyI Sorry, it's been the first item on the news for the previous couple of days because the Government are going to put us into lockdown and cancel elections. Is that better? Utter bollocks of course, but the bedwetters on here seem to lap it up.

⚠️BEWARE Will Keir Starmer put the UK into lockdown in May if cases of meningitis increase? That’ll let him cancel local elections. I would NOT rule anything out with this man.

🚨 Rumours are circulating that Kier Starmer could enforce a national lockdown over the recent case's of meningitis! Which would mean that he could cancel the May elections, He will do anything to stay in power! This man is truely an evil dictator that is hell bent on breaking every last chance of saving our country and the freedoms that we once enjoyed.

The Government know we need oil & gas. They just don’t want to use OUR oil & gas. 👉 End the ban on new licences. Now. 👉 Scrap the EPL. Now. 👉 Permit Rosebank & Jackdaw. Now.

@jacksweynseye @Artemisfornow @andersleijersta Pensioners are taxed on their pension over and above the Personal Allowance, not "on their State Pension". The Kings of the Freebie are Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage - no one else can come close.

@Artemisfornow @andersleijersta Just check out the freebies received by the PM and family and other prominent Govt members. Many of them received gifts for 3 or 4 times (or more)the value of an average wage of a working person and average pensioners income. Pensioners are now also taxed on their State pension.

The Rosebank site off Shetland, said its ready to get millions of barrels of oil a day flowing within months. But Blackout Ed say it’s “climate vandalism” and has refused permission! If you want someone to blame for your energy costs … then I suggest you blame Ed 🤡

@JackieAshley13 @Andy_T_ @Artemisfornow When were we ever self-sufficient in food? If we lose 9% of farmland, doesn't that mean we have 91% available? Imagine thinking farmers use all their land for "farming".

@Andy_T_ @Artemisfornow We grow nowhere near enough now to be self-sufficient.If this is saving the planet, and the people have starved what are they saving it for? Solar panels on fields makes them irrecoverably, irreversibly toxic which could poison water courses. These people are malevolent lunatics

@Andy_T_ @Artemisfornow Imagine thinking 100% of farmland is used for farming. Ask @JeremyClarkson how much of his farm is used for "farming" - or if you watch his programme you may already know the answer.

Government modelling from Defra's January 2025 land use consultation indicates that roughly 9% of England's farmland, equivalent to about 760,000 hectares or around 1.9 million acres, may need to shift entirely away from food production by 2050 to help meet legally binding net zero emissions and biodiversity targets, primarily through conversion to woodland, wild habitats, peat restoration and similar nature recovery measures. An additional portion of agricultural land would see partial changes for environmental benefits while retaining some food output, contributing to nearly a fifth of UK farmland undergoing some form of repurposing overall, even as ministers emphasise protecting the best and most versatile soils and balancing this with housing and infrastructure needs. The separate 500,000-acre figure often cited in coverage relates more specifically to ambitions for renewable energy infrastructure, particularly large-scale solar farms and associated net zero developments on rural land, as Labour accelerates approvals under its Clean Power 2030 goals; while overall solar is projected to use a much smaller share of farmland in some official scenarios, cumulative projects and related land pressures have drawn sharp criticism from Reform UK and farmers concerned about food security, rural landscapes and viable agriculture being sacrificed for what they view as unreliable green targets.

🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧Jo Monk leads a Reform Council in Worcestershire an authority close to bankruptcy, yet her councillors are proposing installing flag poles and masts adorned with the Union Flag on the streets of the county. At the same time, there are cuts to critical services that support the most vulnerable, not a great look is it Jo? #ReformUK 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

@NickSmi85755728 @OborneTweets Is that why more people watch the BBC 6 O'Clock News each evening than watch Reform TV in a month? Why are Reform Ltd MP's so keen to be platformed on QT, Politics Live etc? Its because that's what the voters watch.

@OborneTweets Ordinary people know not to trust the BBC or that rag the Guardian, hence why GB News is the go to channel for the actual truth & why the left wing chattering classes hate it so much.
