It would be better if all parties stopped trying to defend indefensible things like this untruthful ad, and focus their righteous anger against the woke/critical race theory materials the Police are even now being guided by. This will not improve until all of that is ripped out of all manuals, training and guidance.

This issue, like so many others, didn't need to be racialised in this manner. 'At risk' populations were already included in this trial at rates relative to their risks. Black men were 10% of the original study, which matches the wider population plus the multiplier for their greater risk. This new addition means black men will now be over-represented in the trial, leading to the forceasted potential for over-diagnosis... ...and the potential for under-diagnosis in other groups! They aren't uniquely likely to develop prostate cancer. If you're going to do this based on statistics then 'at risk' populations should be covered, not 'of race' populations. Or would that make too much sense?

Hi @ZiaYusufUK I might be able to help... Black men are genetically much more likely to get prostate cancer. Here is a big study showing why: icr.ac.uk/about-us/icr-n… We also have different guidelines on things like blood pressure, because of well, genetics. You are welcome
