In 2019, This man, old enough to be my uncle sat in that passenger seat and let me, a younger guy, show him how to handle a truck. No ego. No "I'm older, what can you teach me?" He just said "Follow who know road" and meant it. Fast forward to today? That same man is now a senior driver. And when I decided to come back to trucking, he was the one plugging me with opportunities. Humility doesn't just build character, e build career too. Some people are too proud to learn. My friend's brother, who is an Uber driver, had two ladies he considered his special clients. Whenever they called him, even if it was 2 a.m., he'd go and pick them up because they tipped him well. Last week, he had the worst experience of his life and has been at home ever since, trying to recover from the shock. They called him around 11 p.m. and asked him to pick them up in Lekki Phase 1. He left his house and got there around 11:40 p.m., but he didn't see them. He called them again, and they told him to wait by Ikoyi Link Bridge. He drove there, parked, and waited. At exactly 12 a.m., he said he saw the two ladies coming out of the water and walking towards his car. According to him, that was when he noticed they didn't have legs. He said his entire body went cold. He couldn't look them in the eyes because they both looked different. He was shaking but tried to act like everything was normal. He dropped them off at a hotel in Victoria Island. As they were about to get out of the car, they warned him not to tell anyone what he had seen and threatened him if he did. The guy hasn't fully recovered. He keeps screaming in his sleep as though he's seeing ghosts. Men, be careful out there. Not every fine girl you see is human.

Most Nigerians can't recall the last time they had adequate fruits consumption due to the high cost of it. People are mainly thinking of how to feed now, than just fruits. Back in 2023, if I am coming from work in the night, I will buy suya, orange, apple, banana etc and enjoy myself cuz those things were so affordable then. I hardly do that again now!

There’s a pregnant woman on my street who used to greet me a lot since I moved here. I later found out she had delivered. While I was on leave last week, I saw her with her baby and gave the child ₦5,000. This evening, her husband stopped me and told me to stay away from his wife 🤦🏾‍♂️

Most of your friends/relatives have that connection you are looking for now but won't do it for you. They are all competing with you and wouldn't want you to be bigger or in the same level with them. A mutual friend here the other day helped me in sth. Do you think if I call any of my family member they will help out? Story! They will even be more joyful you have such predicament!
