So tactically speaking now, the obvious Achilles heel on the Squad is the defense (and their Goalkeeper choice if De La Fuente sticks with Unai Simon at the expense of better GKs in Raya & Joan Garcia) I think Llorente is probably one of the best full backs going to the World Cup itself on the right because of what he brings - Grit, Athleticism, ball carrying, box crashing and defensive solidity. His deputy should be Pedro Porro who’s better going forward than he is defensively, then Pubill or Eric Garcia can all deputize in this position too. At Left back I think Cucurella is a lock. I don’t rate him that highly personally and I also think he’s a bit too rash and a Referees choose to be lenient with hik more often than not, but that’s aside I still think he’s good enough to start as his best traits are in build up play and arrival inside the box. Also has good link up with Nico Williams on the left hand side. In the middle is where the actual chaos is. Cubarsi, Laporte, Pubill & Eric Garcia aren’t exactly World beaters in their own right but what they are, are very useful tools to the entire Spanish picture (especially Cubarsi & Laporte). Build up specialists, generally high IQ defensively, good Spanish orientation from Spanish Academies. I generally think that, because of the entire Spanish system, structure and way of playing, the CB partnership should serve them well. It lacks Athleticism, physicality and box defending like other National teams will bring into the tournament but they should generally be fine — I think. Wrapping this piece up, I believe this should be De La Fuente’s go-to starting 11 when they get into the Knockout phases of the Competition. Unai Simon Llorente Cubarsi Laporte Cucurella Pedri Rodri Fabian Ruiz Lamine Yamal Oyarzabal Nico Williams Again, not filled with World Beaters in every position but the Spanish Football school of thought, technicality, Football intelligence, X-Factor of certain players should push Spain deep into this Tournament and would mean they generally do well. I predict a Semi-Final appearance (or even more) for them. ✅

This is a classic case of a shallow mindset. How many Nigerian millionaires & billionaires have they kidnapped? How many of them do you see running to live abroad? Why are they living in Nigeria & not abroad since Nigeria has no healthcare & the millionaires & billionaires are being kidnapped? You think they don’t prioritize long-term sanity because they choose to live in Nigeria? You people limit Nigeria to the slum you see around you and it’s funny.

It’s all over, no Champions League for Milan. They knew what to do, yet outplayed once again by an average team. Not very hard to understand why the Italian team is no longer making the WC, what do we expect with a league full of non Italians. How do we develop our talents ?
