@elonmusk @tavi_chocochip As if we need more AI slop everywhere. These days, YouTube and Spotify etc are allowing millions of people to generate ai music, with ai vocals, most of the time with ai generated visuals and pretending it's new music from the artist. And it's thanks to things like grok.

@InfamousK48 @sonicdrivein 100% guarantee that they haven't changed the fryer oil. Sadly a normal thing for Sonic. The oil they use is not cheap at all, so everyone does the basket test, where you see how far down into the oil you can go before you can't see the basket anymore.

@wintonARK I will never understand the draw of fsd. Half the fun of driving is just... driving. If I want fsd, I can buy a bus ticket and let the bus driver take me where I need to go, and it's significantly cheaper than a subscription to fsd on a $40,000+ Tesla...

It really is bizarre. Most of my friends don't have FSD (or a Tesla). And it is the single biggest lifestyle difference between us. They drive their cars. My car drives me. They don't get how much--even at its current capability-level--the product changes life-feel. FSD truly is a mass luxury product. That it is still so narrowly enjoyed is mind-bending.

@paakwasi678 @cornski I'm not religious but it's the craziest thing. Israelites hated Christ! The Pharisees hounded him. Chastised him. The Romans didn't give two shits about him, beyond the fact that the Israeli people said he should be killed. Israel should be public enemy #1 for Christians.

@Erickschultz11 @elonmusk I view grok as just the old card files in libraries before they switched to computers. It gives you a baseline of what you are looking at/for. Then I use that starting point to go down the rabbit hole and hopefully learn something.

@IrvanSteve @elonmusk Thats what i do. Ypu realize a lot of truth is not available to ai or to us either. The government’s keep secrets. So we can only guess what they are up to. Ai wont help.

@Erickschultz11 @elonmusk Well I mean, you should ultimately use grok for the basics and then use that to decide through your own research as to whether you're dealing with fact or fiction.

@IrvanSteve @elonmusk But is truth just the most probable truth? I have my doubts about that.

@Erickschultz11 @elonmusk I don't agree, but only on the premise that humans use the Internet and web based search for "truth" in almost the same way. The only difference is that grok is comparing datasets from hundreds of thousands of websites.

Grok doesn't know the truth, any more than any other AI. AI's don't actually work on truth. They work on stats. At the lowest level, models like Grok, ChatGPT, etc. are trained on statistical patterns in data. They learn distributions over language and predict what tokens are likely to come next given context. There is no internal variable labeled “truth” that they optimize directly. So in that narrow sense, yes, they are statistical systems. During training, a lot of the data reflects the real world science, history, consistent observations, shared constraints. Because reality is structured and consistent, the statistical patterns that best compress that data often align with what we call “true” statements. So the model ends up approximating truth indirectly, because truth is a stable pattern in the data. The real limitation is this: the model has no grounding in reality. It doesn’t test claims against the world, run experiments, or experience consequences. So when the data is noisy, biased, or contradictory, it can produce confident but incorrect answers. It can also “hallucinate” because it’s still fundamentally doing pattern completion. However with access to the internet they can do a fact check, however, Even with internet access, AI doesn’t verify truth - it arbitrates between sources. Its accuracy depends on the quality, diversity, and integrity of those sources. Classically, knowledge is defined as justified true belief (JTB): belief → a claim is held justification → there are reasons/evidence truth → the claim actually matches reality What AI produces is closer to justified belief, but with an unstable or indirect connection to truth.

@elle_kaye11 @JohnBarrowman Fiscally responsible? Trump's first term added $7 TRILLION to the national debt. So far with Trump's 2nd term, we've jumped another $2.7 TRILLION. And that's not counting what the pissing match will ultimately cost us. Trump has never successfully run a business.

@JohnBarrowman That kids awesome. We are broke. If you were the kind of person who maxes out your credit cards to give charitable donations because you don’t have the money, that’s your personal choice. For the fiscally responsible, we understand the difference and this kid is great.

@BurgerKing @treeaston @burgerking Give me 4 good reasons to try BK again. Cause the last time we went to BK, there was absolutely nothing redeemable with the meal. The only thing correct were the drinks, which we filled ourselves. Otherwise I'm sure they'd have screwed that up too.

@Jbob198X @Microinteracti1 You're apparently not aware that all the nations Trump is on his knees begging for help from have already negotiated with Iran for peaceful access to the strait and gotten the all clear from Iran. In other words, only the u.s. is suffering from this. Nobody else.

It’s okay we will remember that these so called ally’s aren’t worth much when they need help in the future. Protecting civilian ships in the ocean is actually the whole world’s responsibility but Iran knew most countries talk about international law but won’t do anything to defend it and that is actually the problem with our world. Iran is terrorist state and has been allowed to act the way it does because most counties won’t do anything to stop them. The gulf nations who rely on the strait being open have large expensive military’s but don’t use them and show it’s all for show. Weakness allows bad people to do bad things and once again the US is the only country in the world that will stand up and make these evil demons pay a price. Hopefully the Iranian people will rise up and take their country back but since the regime killed 30,000 plus unarmed protestors and the world did nothing to stop them. Evil thrives when good men do nothing

10 Countries. 0 Warships. Trump went hat in hand to the world. The world checked its phone and put it back in its pocket. France said no. Officially. In writing. Germany said nothing, which is German for no. Norway said no. The UK is “discussing options with allies,” which is British for no. Japan stayed silent while 70% of its Middle East oil supply sits behind a minefield. South Korea watched Washington and Tehran play chicken with its own energy supply and declined to pick a side. China called it a sovereign right and hung up. Qatar didn’t just refuse. Qatar stopped production entirely and declared force majeure. Their energy minister did not mince words: this will bring down economies of the world. Iran is still there. Still attacking ships. Still laying mines. Still holding the strait. The most powerful military on Earth sent out the call. Ten countries heard it. The result is a number that requires no commentary: zero. This is what the end of American power looks like in practice. A request for warships that came back empty. Washington spent decades telling the world that the US-led order was worth defending. The world has moved away from the US. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

But it’s not about about that, I am used to being digitally deleted I just come back stronger each time. I am more concerned about poor humans who look at digital identity more importatntly then physical identity and the you have some clown Nikita playing god with peoples lives. I posted a cartoon meme that was clearly a joke. Who’s gone woke now 😁

There’s a Federal Fair Access act plus each state has their own laws about fair access to banking. There’s also an executive order from last Aug. Yes, X can suspend your account for breaking their rules but the bank must provide alternative access to your money. You may cease to get the cash back and high interest on the account but you will get access to your money.
Yiva@yivaxx

@WilliamShatner Quick Quest: What happens to your X money if you lose your account due to suspension or hacking?

What about the economic value of the account itself? Followers, content, monetization eligibility that’s not money in a wallet but it has real financial value. When @lubski_bnbguy got permanently suspended today with no warning, years of built audience was wiped. There’s no Fair Access Act for that. @BNBGUY/every-time-you-reply-to-elon-youre-making-him-richer-here-s-the-math-nobody-talks-about-971bd7a1b799" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@BNBGUY/every-…

@playarabbit Look. I'm not a religious person. I'm not an atheist either. I don't have any reason to decide. But I've read the Bible several times. Jesus had hair like wool, and feet like fine brass. (Rev 1;14) In other words, Jesus was black or very dark skinned.
