ive built a lot of my path around only doing work that feels right without grind tension. that's mostly been successful but claude code is helping remove the final 10-15% of maintenance and admin grind an example: redoing a website. the choice used to be blocking off a couple days for intensive powering through or hiring someone. both choices kind of suck when you aren't flush in cash In the past couple of weeks I've set up agentic workflows to: - report on and manage my meta ad for my consulting course (often wasted tons here) - report on and manage my amazon book ads US and UK (only a few hundred dollars but it was very inefficient) - now I added a third country too - basically something I hadn'y checked in a year - a weekly report based on how my books, angies book, and other proejcts are doing, any social mentions so i can thank people, and then also ideas of what kind of fun things i could consider on my path I also used the tools to: - move almost all my wordpress sites to astro, on top of free obsidian vaults to manage content mostly for free - build my own teachable replacement for my consulting course - build a 12 step blog writing process for the strategyu site that I can then edit in two rounds that meet my standards (still not there yet for my personal writing at all) - build a 15 minute video slideshow for the traveling village in under two hours of work using mostly code and then descript to add music (using agent to place the music) - help create an exact translation of Angie's book to english chapter by chapter that I can then edit, using git for version control, and eventually for EPUB and PDF creation directly from code Next I plan to: - Move off circle and rebuild my own custom community stack + course that fits with the vision of what I always felt was impossible A lot of these tasks (like the amazon ads) went from insanely underoptimized, basically never checked, to something I can now "manage" and dream up new approaches in less than 5-10 minutes a week I am at somewhat of an advantage of implementing this stuff. I've played with every new tech since I had a computer at 9 years old. I learned basic coding as a kid and then more in college. I manage almost all of everything I do and rarely hire people to work with me or help me. I'm finding things fall into buckets 1. Bringing alive things I "could do" but basically ignored or under-optimized for years into a simple workflow 2. Expanding the possibility space of what I could do now that many more things are fun and easy What a time to be alive

OpenClaw is incredible. We have a custom internal version called Goliath and it scraped 350 leads in 10 minutes, built us websites for all 350, sent postcards to the owners of those 350 companies with QR codes to scan to see the websites we made for them, and now have clients from this mini-campaign. $7 in tokens, 10 minutes of work, 6 active monthly clients now from it. Watch and learn!

A few years ago I was fighting wildfires, now i'm shipping developer tools. Just built and launched my first API in a few hours. It's called ExtractAI: you give it any website and tell it in plain English what data you want...it gives you back clean, structured data. No code. No scraping. No CSS selectors. Just "get the name, title, and company of every speaker listed on this conference page" → instant lead list from any event site. The entire backend runs on Claude's API. I'm literally selling a product powered by AI that I built using AI, that will most likely get discovered by other people's AI.

Every day I turn down companies offering me $100k+ to build them AI infrastructure. They know they lack the expertise, but they don’t want to blow their cash hiring engineers that will drain them. They’d rather pay someone a bag to: - Build it in 1-3 months - Save them 5-6 figures/mo You could literally spin up a new business and build everything under this service. That’s how big this opportunity is.
Damian Player@damianplayer

the biggest AI opportunity right now is mid-market companies ($5M-$50M+ revenue): • too big for cookie-cutter solutions • too small for enterprise consulting • drowning in manual workflows • have budget but zero AI expertise (most companies) they’re stuck with serious cash but frozen by AI paralysis. markets open to those with balls & a cold email sequence.

local in-person AI classes for corporate boomers. think Claude 101. easily a $ 25K/mo opportunity. rent a presentation room. run meta ads targeting 35-60 year olds. charge $500-$1000 for a 2-day hands-on workshop. teach vibecoding, Claude, ChatGPT, prompting and agents. the demand is insane. these people see AI everywhere but have zero clue how to use it. they want face-to-face guidance, not online courses. run the same curriculum weekly. refine based on questions. multiple up-sell or down-sell opportunities. scale to multiple cities once you nail the format. you’re hitting a market everyone else ignores. corporate boomers with cash who prefer learning in person. they are also being told to learn these tools daily.. no chance this doesn’t work if you execute. go out and nail this.

Okay, I'm about to make some of you SMB owners very rich with this post lol What if I told you... there's a way to have one sales guy do the work of 20. Let's say you own a roofing, fence, deck, or construction company... did you know that you can buy high resolution same day satellite imagery? Some of you may know that, roofers especially. The mega roofing companies like Roof Maxx do this, but they pay $35 to $50 PER ROOF to review for storm damage. They also pay companies a lot of money to monitor hail damage in areas. This is still a clunky method that is very expensive. Well fuck that... it's 2026 you guys. Now you can do it, but not only that... you can do it MUCH better and MUCH cheaper. Stop wasting your time and money sending dudes on the ground to go property scouting. This is how you do it... Buy the satellite data, but not per roof, buy the high res images of entire areas where the storm went through. It's like $500. Feed that data into Gemini 2.5 Pro. It's the best AI vision model available. Have it scope every property for homes with damage. Cross reference the flagged properties with parcel data and map a route for your sales guy to go direct to damaged properties only. BUT WAIT... It gets better... Vibe code an app that does it. Connect to NOAA and Open-meteo API. It's FREE dude. 1. Set up automated triggers for severe weather. 2. When a weather event is triggered, it calls to the satellite imagery provider API and pulls the images. 3. The images get picked up by Gemini 2.5 Pro and scanned. 4. Properties get flagged and address matched and triggers the next step 5. Nano Banana 2 reads the storm data to generate a specific storm event mailer and triggers the next step. 6. That mailer is sent through API to a Direct Mail provider with SAME DAY service. 7. Mailers hit the mailboxes before the other companies even get out of bed. BONUS is you didn't even have to get out of bed either. It's automatic man. 8. The addresses are batch scheduled and sent to your CRM for your sales rep to hit them directly. He better get up early. I built this for fun. It works. But I cheaped out my test with Google Satellite imagery because I don't own any of those types of companies man I'd like my Ferrari to be Red please. Thank You. 🫡

@damianplayer 100% this. 53, been in C and Cwork for three weeks and my productivity is staggering and I have no clue what I’m doing. Get me someone who can tutor me and the daily price is somewhat moot for the time I’ll get back.

I just launched FriendshipRecession.com Adults have fewer close friends than at any point in the last 30 years The number of men with zero close friends jumped from 3% to 15% since 1990. That's wild! And the average adult now spends less than 3 hours a week with friends I'll be documenting the so-called Friendship Recession on this site. Send me any articles or posts here so I can start to collect tips, tricks, research etc please

Just canceled ClickFunnels, Circle, Webflow, and Notion in the same month $600+ month in SaaS. Gone Spent probably $20k+ on these tools over the years. Was loyal to all of them Manus builds a better funnel in 20 minutes than what I spent hours dragging and dropping in CF. Better design. Better copy. Actually understands the offer SaaS isn't dead. Most people will use these tools forever But there's a growing group of us in this corner of the internet quietly canceling everything and rebuilding it with AI in an afternoon Kinda wild to mass cancel tools I used to think were essential...

I condensed everything I know about selling AI services into one cheat sheet. - Niche selection. - Tech stack. - ROI conversations that close deals. - Objections and exactly how to handle them. Free. Just save it. If you want the full breakdown of how to go from zero to your first $10K month using this framework, drop "AI" in the comments and I'll send you the playbook. What a HORRIBLE forecast by meteorologists – especially myself. Not only were we spectacularly wrong – we communicated poorly. It became apparent last night that some of our initial expectations would prove fallacious. I'd like to address what went wrong with our forecast:
