Second, unlike our last useless and feckless Governor, @JeffLandry is doing what’s best for Louisiana considering the current economic landscape and taking advantage of the best growth opportunity this country has seen in over 25 years which does include expansion of the Oil and Gas reserves the State sits on the the opportunity to bring in incredible Tax revenues from the most transformative evolution in technology the world has seen. @LAGovJeffLandry WOULD BE a One-term Governor if he was not doing these things. Second, the Construction of the these Data Center infrastructure build outs includes the POLICY that OBLIGATES these companies to BUILD their own Power Generation plants so they ARE incurring the costs and NOT PASSING the costs to the residents; this isn’t speculation, this is signed into policy by @POTUS and it was done with the foresight that the power requirement of these data center would present a large impact to the current power generation capacity throughout the country. This was well thought out. In other words, without that policy, it would be risk to the current grid. Third, Louisiana is FAR behind in Modern technology development, like the last ones in the country, this attracts other Industries presenting over a BILLION dollar opportunity that would otherwise would never realize. Crawfish festivals and Tourism are not sustainable, as the State saw during Covid and there ISN’T another viable, THRIVING industry within reach. I understand you may not be of the same party as this governor, it is your right, but proposing the stupid childish notions that you’re pursuing is both ignorant and suicidal in a challenging economic landscape with a huge opportunity at the doorstep.
