Acquiring a new skill I never asked for - repeatedly, politely and patiently explaining to talent that there is no “best microphone" to use if they insist on recording voice over in a bathroom.

Not only does your marketing need to be trustworthy, warm and compassionate, so do your reads. You can already see the style of direction go from casual millennial to warm, trustworthy and reassuring. Pay attention to the shifts and meet them as best you can within your brand.

@KyleClark Understood but I think there is a little bit of overreaction here. There is no place my daughter is allowed to have her cell phone BESIDES her locker while on campus - it’s a distraction. And I agree - I can’t imagine teaching a class with kids who all have their cell phones.

@JGVoiceOver Hi friend - couple quick notes. The new element here was the confiscation of the student phones, not whether they were allowed to have them in class. And I have my cell phone on the anchor desk every night. Read source texts aloud during the program many times.

DPS tells parents it will confiscate students’ cell phones at the Denver Discovery School during the strike Monday. A parent tells me this is not standard practice. Other DPS parents, have you also been told that student phones will be taken on Monday? #copolitics #9News

@KyleClark Hey @KyleClark. Students aren’t allowed to have cell phones in class at any time, whether or not there is a strike. Just like you’re not allowed to have your cell phone on set during a newscast. My daughters cell phone stays in her locker - has been since day 1

@BySajaHindi students are not allowed to have their cell phones in class regardless of if there is a strike or not. It would be disruptive. There is no mass conspiracy to confiscate cell phones and censor information, despite what you read on Twitter
