So, all the reporting (@denverwestword , @KDVR, and others) saying that a bill in the state legislature would add the ability for speed cameras to give tickets for 6 MPH - 9 MPH over the speed limit was wrong. That already exists under current law and the new bill is designed to make speed camera fines more difficult, not easier, to receive. I'll talk with bill sponsor State Sen Byron Pelton about it on Tuesday morning at 6:34 AM on KOA. #copolitics
