@DocStrangelove2 The VP70, RAMI and P232 were so out of left field and GOATed choices. Like, those are guns that not even most gun nuts know about.

@DocStrangelove2 The RE series is a huge reason why I got interested in guns (along with Counter-Strike and Rainbow Six on PC). I remember examining all the weapons and learning all the various makes and models. Back in the good ol’ days when no one cared and video games had all the trademarks.

@nineinchna1ls It’s up there but no. And I say this as a huge NIN fan. Physical Graffiti and arguably Mellon Collie are better and more consistent. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Fragile. But there are a few tracks that aren’t up to the same quality as the rest.

I genuinely hate modern video game reload animations with a burning passion. Ever since MW 2019 got all the (deserved) praise for its reload animations, every single AAA game tried to outdo the other in sheer spectacle. Normal reloads respecting the manual of arms? That won't get us on YouTube reload compilations! And now, we got fucking pinky finger reloads.

@zhlimzir @sustainuntruth Their AI wasn’t changed, but they definitely do behave differently at higher framerates. They tend to be more aggressive. I played the original GC version for many years and noticed a difference immediately once I finally tried the PS4 HD version.

@sustainuntruth This isn't true btw. The only difference is that USA GameCube starts at rank 5 difficulty instead of rank 3. And if you play well eventually the later versions ramp up to the same difficulty. Enemy AI wasn't changed.

lol really the reason people say shit like "1hit stuns too easy" about og RE4 it's all because of the crappy modern HD version enemies on gamecube dodge your laser and hide their faces constantly even on normal difficulty, on PC they almost never do this regardless of difficulty
