@isohelsgarden Melee grants such a creative license to your character and there's several ways to solve a problem. One may try to copy your favorite or "best" player in a vacuum, but it's more natural to solve it in a way that makes the most sense to you rather than doing your best replica

can some1 explain to me why this is the case?
why doesn't every fox ever try to just play like Cody? id say a lot of good ult reps of their character likely play a LOT like their best rep/at least try to. theres a p clear answer in most cases as to what = optimal so just do that

One thing on the Keon Coleman discussion.
IMO, he was always a 3-4 year project if he was going to work out. He is young and very raw, and his game was/is VERY unpolished.
Fans and team needed an immediate impact at the position and he was never going to be that. And frankly, MOST draft picks aren't. Most take time.

I really enjoyed the competitions I did enter and you'll probably still see me around at Buffalo stuff! The upstate scene is awesome and I've met such amazing people ❤️

Not sure if it needs to be said since I haven't been around, but I'm re-retiring from competitive melee. It's become such a negative feedback loop and my mental has been immensely better since I stopped playing. I'll probably still be around the scene socially just no tournaments
