@RedArcherLive I would say the blame lies with people like Jude and MrTARDIS. If they’d nagged less, we might not be here bcz their fans didn’t watch bcz they said it was bad.. There needs to be a MASSIVE shake up of fandom when it returns.

The only thing I will ask - please don't celebrate RTD exiting/the show going on hiatus anywhere near me.
You may be happy, sure, and more power to you - but I'm not.
I liked RTD2 and NEVER wanted a break to be "necessary" for Doctor Who.
I'm heartbroken. Genuinely speechless.

Yes, sure, this era had some big problems and I STILL don't like the Piper cameo twist (now more than ever)
But that doesn't mean I didn't still want to trust the process and hope for what came next. Now I genuinely don't know WHAT to hope for.

- Do the last RTD special with a "walk into sunset" ending
- Rest the show for 3ish years
- Bring back with lower budget and a different/new creative team
- Unknown Actor for the Doctor
